HA HA HA HA!!!

Hugo you suck!!!!!

Deal with it bitch.

Or as the King of Spain said, "SHUT UP!"

I shall have a fine scotch to celebrate this blowhard's defeat.

My apologies to all the socialists in the US that were hoping for this dictator's further oppression of the Venezuelan people.

So he has only 5 years to destroy the country... though it's nice to see that democracy works sometimes.

A 6-hour-working day? WTF??? I suppose he wanted to turn Venezuela into a socialist Disneyland, hoping that tourists come to see the last "socialist paradise" on earth and leave their money there.

Great news! Finally, the people of a depressed country find the balls to oust a dictator prick!! Note the only pro-"little prick" comments in the article were from those with their hands out. I doubt this is the last we'll hear from him, though.

Agreed. I doubt he will just leave at the end of his term.

It's far from over. Watch his lunatic ranting over the next few days. I expect opposition leaders will start disappearing within 3 months and marshall law to follow to deal with the "crisis.

If Chavez was a dictator he would be one of the wost. Dictator's cannot loose elections because they get always 90% approval ratings.

Your opinions are the same misinformed knee jerk capitalist reaction that the San Francisco Chronicle spouts. The referendum was not designed to make Chavez, "a constitutional dictator for life." Otherwise it would have passed.

The Bolivarian Party lost the referendum vote due to media misinformation and 20+ pork amendments put in by the Venezuelan National Assembly. The people actually vote for their own interests in an informed way. Democracy is alive and healthy in Venezuela.

Dictatorship my ass- just a revolutionary democratic movement that Chavez just happens to be the poster child / mascot of. When he is no longer doing what the people want they will kick him out.

I understand why you're angry. Clearly it's hard for us Americans to wrap our minds around ideas like real Democracy. We're afraid of things we don't understand.
